Spring Days With Charlotte Russe Posted: 02 Apr 2013 09:40 AM PDT I am so excited to announce my Spring Collaboration with Charlotte Russe! I have been a customer of theirs for years so it's amazing to have the opportunity to work with them on this. I will be showing 2 different looks, one for day and one for night, from their new arrivals this season :) Dress (here) & Wedges (here): C/O Charlotte Russe/ Bag: H&M/ Sunnies: Target  What's better than a pretty floral print dress for a lovely spring day?  I chose this one in particular from their Candy Girl collection because I love the mix of colors. It's super cute and flirty and perfect for an afternoon with friends especially if you're going to lunch or have a party to attend like a baby shower.  Dresses like this are so light and easy to wear on those warmer days making it a very effortless piece.  The length is also great for day time as well. If you're trying to get dressed up during the day but still want to keep somewhat of a casual vibe, wedges are the way to go! They're super comfortable and right on trend.  How amazing are these?! I am completely obsessed.  One of the best parts about wedges is that even when they're really high, it doesn't feel like it, making it much easier to walk. My favorite part about these is the color and cut out wooden platform.  They're a must have! DESIGN CONTEST // PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON 12

ARTS THREAD is working with Project Runway to spread the word about casting for Season 12.

We're excited to offer designers the chance to show their work during New York Fashion Week and the opportunity to win $100,000 to launch or expand their own fashion line.

Project Runway season 12 is now casting! Have what it takes to show your stuff at New York fashion week? This is your chance!

The minimum age to apply for the show is 21. For more details, information, and to apply, please fill out the application (Download) and follow all directions that are on it. 

The deadline for us to receive applications is April 8th, 2013.

That said, our invite only casting calls begin very soon after the deadline. Getting your submission in as soon as possible guarantees that you can be invited to the call that is geographically closest to you. Please don't wait until the last minute - fill out the application and get us all of your info immediately!

Easter Sunday Posted: 01 Apr 2013 09:23 AM PDT Happy 1st day of April!  I hope that you all had a lovely Easter and weekend.  I wore this to Church and brunch and I wanted to make sure it was very classy but still fun for the holiday.  Dress (here) & Shoes: Forever21/ Necklace: C/O LolaBlueTheCloset  I've been loving blue lately and never used to wear much of it before.  I thought this floral shift dress was perfect for the occasion.  I love the color and print and it fits me like a glove. These shoes are obviously a perfect match as well.  I have to say that Forever21 has definitely stepped up their shoe game over the past few years.  I always find great pairs there.  My favorite part of this outfit is this gorgeous necklace.  It also comes with matching earrings. I have seriously been looking everywhere for something similar to this but I was not having any luck.  It's such a great statement necklace with so much versatility because it would look just as good with a graphic tee to dress it up.  I will be doing a giveaway later this month with Erika from Lola Blue so stay tuned! She has amazing pieces on her site.
