DESIGN CONTEST // MANGO FASHION AWARDS . 5TH EDITION Posted: 09 May 2013 05:16 AM PDT Editiorial via: Mango Fashion Awards The international projection of Spanish fashion is continually growing, which is why for Mango it is essential to come up with innovative projects which add value to the brand. Within this context, Mango created the "Mango Fashion Awards" in order to offer a new media platform for emerging talents and offer them the opportunity to produce and market their collections.  The competition also offers the biggest prize money in its category, distributed into ten payments of 9,000 euros to each fo the ten finalists, and a first prize of 300,000 euros for the winner. The aim of this event is to give young designers under 35 years old access to a new media platform, as well as the opportunity to keep marketing their collections.  Candidates who have not had the opportunity to launch their collections but have at least 3 year's experience in the fashion industry may also participate in the competition, as long as they can provide evidence.
